About Raven Nalika Rose, LMFT
You don’t have to carry this all on your own
Together, we will look beneath the surface. You know there is more to life than feeling anxious, confused, angry, and overwhelmed. It is possible to get clear about what you want and experience moments of joy and peace.
please Hear me when I say:
Being here doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re brave
How I work
Keys to my approach:
Presence
Curiosity
Compassion
Using a holistic, individualized approach, I invite you to open and discover. With presence, curiosity, and compassion, I invite you to allow your feelings to circulate, to move through you. I invite you to explore those seeming contradictions living within you.
Combining my own experiential learning in Somatic and Expressive Arts, Depth Psychology, and Eco-Spirituality with my extensive professional training provides a rich tapestry to my clients.
That being stated, substantial research indicates the leading predictor of successful therapeutic outcomes for most of the problems for which people seek therapy is the quality of the “therapeutic alliance” between the client and the clinician.
The relationship between you and me matters far more than training, experience, or methods.
Therapy with me is…
-
Together we will spend time getting to know you and discover your unique challenges and gifts.
-
Specific questions encourage your self-reflection. I will also reflect to you what I hear and see, both your gifts and challenges.
-
Therapy is a private and sacred process.
-
We shall consistently look beneath the surface of your emotions and thoughts; examining the cultural, familial, and societal systems that have affected you. I will encourage you to recognize and experience your personal power.
